Siemens is looking to ensure the quality of their manufacturing processes, products, and systems by hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to implement and maintain quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Experience with statistical analysis, root cause analysis and quality management tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing.
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Knowledge of the IMS standard (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and Internal auditor certification
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to integrate quality control measures into the manufacturing process.
- Analyze data and trends to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform risk assessments on manufacturing processes and work towards mitigating potential quality issues.
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 plus years’ experience working as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
