MAAG Pump Systems needs to establish and direct a Technical Compliance Program to ensure their products meet international Technical Regulations and develop quality processes related to compliance.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of EU directives and UL Standards
- Experience in international regulation and directives (EAC, ATEX, CE, NR12)
- 3+ years’ experience in technical specification design and documentation
- 3+ years’ experience in supporting the implementation of an ISO-9001 program
Responsibilities
- Spearheads the strategic development of the quality standards and procedures to satisfy regulatory requirements for product compliance.
- Manage and maintain technical documentation for support of country-specific certification requirements.
- Collects and analyses quality data to ensure compliance of ongoing projects
- Coordinate with certifying agencies to identify and meet certification regulations and ensure compliance.
- Identify and respond to new and revised regulations and directives relating to MAAG Group GALA products and Quality Systems.
- Work with vendors and other outside sources to communicate regulatory requirement and establish means to assure compliance to respective directives.
- Coordinates with others third party inspections on equipment involving factory acceptance testing (FAT)
Other
- Develop ongoing training system to ensure wide understanding and acceptance of the compliance program
- Collaborate with internal Maag Americas departments for alignment.
- Investigate logistic and monetary implications to pursue conformance to the regulations and directives of untapped markets.
- Participate and help drive Continuous Improvement activity and projects.
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience
- 3+ years of process development and internal auditing experience
