The company is looking for a quality engineer to join their growing team to analyze nonconformities and discrepancies, manage critical KPIs, reduce customer escapes, improve product quality, and improve product yields in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- well-versed in the use of root-cause and corrective action methods and tools
- Minitab/JMP or other statistical software experience
- SQL programming language
- Knowledge of ISO9001
- Working knowledge of statistical principals and applications for manufacturing
- Experience with Lean manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Performs analysis on reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical systems
- Manage critical KPI’s in support of focus factory objectives
- Utilize acquired skills, knowledge, and training to reduce customer escapes, improve product quality, and/or improve product yields
- Perform role with general supervision
