Skyworks is seeking a Student Intern to support cutting-edge products for high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, medical, and extreme industrial) by working with their Quality Engineering team.
Requirements
- Working towards a technical degree such as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Interest in learning to work in various quality assurance processes, including data review, process specification generation and review, process improvement, and corrective actions.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits preferred

- Work in various quality assurance processes, including:
- Data review and analysis
- Process specification generation and review
- Process analysis and improvement
- Corrective action investigation
- Customer claim resolution

- The student should be available to work 40 hours/week over 3 months.

- Ability to collaborate with product, process, test engineers, and operations in a multi-disciplinary environment

- Because this position is within our Skyworks Defense and Space business, where we have contracts with the US government, qualified candidates must have US Worker status. This usually means they are a US citizen or hold a green card. Students on visas such as F¬1 or J¬1 do not qualify.
