L3Harris is seeking to fill an Intern - Quality Engineering role to support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects and quality practices
Requirements
- currently enrolled in a B.S. degree program or higher in Industrial Technology, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or General Engineering
- consideration for other majors such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
Responsibilities
- perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects
- support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects
- operate effectively in a team environment
- assist technical staff in providing adequate methods to meet quality requirements
- provide root cause and corrective actions
- meet delivery and performance targets
- support engineers in the design and development of products and processes to improve production
Other
- must be returning to school upon completion of the assignment
- ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship may be required for security clearances
- must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- must be able to pass pre-employment substance abuse testing and background checks
