Pro Active Engineering is seeking to improve quality systems and practices in electronics manufacturing
Requirements
- Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, AOI, reflow, X-ray, functional testing, etc.)
- Basic understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IPC-A-610
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data analysis tools is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assisting in quality inspections of PCBAs at various stages of production (incoming, in-process, and final)
- Supporting failure analysis and root cause investigations for non-conforming products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Participating in audits (internal and customer) and preparing quality documentation
- Collecting and analyzing production and quality data using tools like Pareto charts, control charts, and FMEAs
- Helping maintain and improve quality management system (QMS) documentation in compliance with ISO 9001
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process control implementation
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a manufacturing environment
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158
- Must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
