The Robert Bosch Corporation is seeking to develop Quality Engineering students to work on automotive steering components and systems at the Florence, KY facility
Requirements
- Competent use of systematic problem solving tools (SPC, Pareto, fishbone, etc.)
- Knowledge of Bosch measurement systems
- Understanding of Gage R&R’s and capability studies
- Understanding of the Principles of Bosch Production Systems
- Use of measurement tools for production and process troubleshooting
- Utilize test and measurement methods (R&R, SPC, CPK, etc.)
- Understanding of control plans and FMEA
Responsibilities
- Obtain an understanding of Bosch Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Tools
- Obtain an understanding and ability to manipulate basic internal databases
- Understand the purpose and ability to change Process Quality Documents
- Assist in problem solving, containment and corrective actions
- Assist engineers with improvement and cost saving projects
- Obtain knowledge in Bosch measurement systems and their use in production
- Accurately measure dimensions using dedicated and sensitive gauging equipment
Other
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a 4 year university and be actively enrolled for the duration of your co-op
- Ability to rotate back at least every other term for at least 3 rotations preferred but not required
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Strong analytical and intellectual skills
- Effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures
