Marvin is seeking a skilled Engineering and Quality Manager to oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and quality management systems to ensure high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Hands-on, in-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
- Capable of leading and implementing the practical application of the full range of lean methods on the plant floor
- Experience implementing Lean practices in several different plants or operating environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO certification
- Experience with quality metrics and data analysis
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement principles
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
- Lead the engineering team and manage project execution
- Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells
- Estimate production costs and efficiency
- Develops and leads all aspects of the Quality Management System, including ISO certification
- Drives activities to improve quality products, processes, and systems to achieve all around company and customer satisfaction
- Research new technology trends in quality improvement methodologies and manufacturing processes
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of proven experience and education
- At least six years of combined experience in Quality and Operations management in a manufacturing setting
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated through championing accountability, maximizing team and individual strengths, seeking, and implementing change
- Communications proficiency in English and Spanish required
- Ability to work in a team environment and promote a culture of waste identification and elimination
