The role aims to drive strategic initiatives in quality governance, process optimization, and member development, with a focus on eliminating waste and enhancing cycle times to shape the future of workspace solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality, Engineering, Data Analysis, or Project Management, preferably in a manufacturing or product development setting
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Experience in Quality Management practices and systems
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong emphasis on Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies
- Proven Project Management experience
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis or automation
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within engineering processes, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure financial responsibility.
- Oversee the execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
