The company is looking to solve the problem of defective printed materials by performing visual inspections to ensure quality conformance specified by the customer.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of random samples of product selected during a production run, or post production, looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out of specification.
- Follows inspection checklist and records any identified defects.
- Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.
- Provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
- May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.
- Perform “samples” selection and package for shipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function, especially in printing environment preferred
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines.
