Emerson is looking to ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability by hiring a Quality Inspector III
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing drawings
- Understands and is proficient with micrometers, dial bore gages, snap ring gages, plug gages, thread gauges and other measurement tools and equipment
- 3-5 year of CMM programming
- Understands CMM programming
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation of a finished product for quality and reliability
- Performs inspection tasks anywhere in the facility or outside of the facility as directed
- Troubleshoots rejected materials and communicates with the Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor
- Determines and documents findings of inspection tasks (i.e. accepts or rejects)
Other
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience as a Quality Inspector in an industrial manufacturing environment
