L3Harris is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality and compliance of their products and documentation to meet customer requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- Familiarity with electronic workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.
- Background in Aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic assemblies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Inspection of products and their associated documents in accordance with L3Harris Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, customer specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, and other requirements as needed.
- Ensure that products and services conform to established company standards.
- Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement of the processes and products.
- Understand and apply the elements of corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis.
- Provide training and mentor new inspectors.
- Able to work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Provide feedback on Inspection Control Plans for MN’s worked in area.
Other
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience in collaborative problem-solving and workload balancing within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to provide training and mentor new inspectors.
