The Boeing Company is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the quality and reliability of avionics and electronics systems designed for use on aircraft and other platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in quality assurance, document control, and inspection, within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct thorough reviews of technical documentation and assemblies
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Additional education or certification in quality assurance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance to quality requirements
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of all required inspection records
- Verify completeness of inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and test records
- Identify discrepancies in workmanship / documentation and coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve issues
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of documentation reviews and inspections
- Participate in internal audits and support corrective and preventive action activities
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a related role
