Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is looking for a Quality Inspector to ensure product and documentation meet customer and government standards through various inspection processes.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T electrical and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
- Basic knowledge of metrology, quality tools, and GD&T is required
- Open DMIS software experience preferred
- Experience with AS9100D is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate CMM machine using established programs.
- Program and operate Keyence IM system, Nikon vision system.
- Perform dimensional inspection on product using a variety of measuring equipment such as, but not limited to: CMM, Keyence, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gages.
- Perform visual inspection of multiple products for mechanical/electrical characteristics to documentation.
- Perform as an inspector for various areas of inspection, such as in-process, incoming receiving inspection, source inspection, and/or final inspection.
- Review all documentation for completeness, including stamp off on test data, router, and supplier certifications.
- Perform first article inspection for in-process operations.
Other
- Requires a high school diploma
- Requires 4 or more years of inspector experience in a military or aerospace environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
