L3Harris is looking for a Quality Inspector C to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications, supporting customer commitments and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience evaluating complex electronic hardware, under magnification, to IPC-J-STD-001 and/or NASASTD-8739 is required.
  • Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to the above referenced workmanship standards
  • Experience with engineering drawing review and interpretation
  • Familiarity with common measuring devices
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance principles
  • AS 9100/ISO 9001 quality system experience.
  • Knowledge or Certifications in IPC-A-610H and IPC-620

Responsibilities

  • Perform product inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
  • Inspect and perform minor rework on defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Maintain supporting documentation and perform sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
  • Perform reviews and report performance data.
  • Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
  • Determine or assist in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.

Other

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or an Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Secret US Security Clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to both internal and external customers.
  • Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task successfully to drive tasks to closure to support customer commitments and business objectives.
