Guidant is seeking to maintain the integrity of its Quality Management System (QMS) for Measurement Solutions, Americas to the ISO9001 and other required regulatory standards, and ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities and roles.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Familiarity with engineering tools related to solid modeling, circuit diagrams, mathematical approaches, etc.
- Familiarity with working tools of technical area, for example, machine tools, hand tools, multi-meters, scopes, etc.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 standard and application
- Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
- Experience with document control and record management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Learn the fundamentals of the Erie Quality Management System, Self-Managed Impact Quality and organizational safety processes.
- Maintain the Customer Complaint Coordinator role by providing documentation and facilitation of customer complaints to ensure resolution.
- Assist in functions pertaining to organizations control of documents and records.
- Become fluent in the Root Cause and Corrective Action process.
- Develop solutions to recurring problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data from documented nonconformances and process variations.
- Develop working knowledge of the tools (gages, inspection plans, audits, etc.) of the quality function.
- Support the First Article Inspection (FAI) process.
Other
- Typically a junior student in pursuit of a BS Degree in Electronic, Mechanical or Software Engineering or related technical field or has manufacturing experience/interest.
