Clarios is looking to identify and reduce scrap contributors in their battery manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, data science and/or Business.
Responsibilities
- Help the quality team to identify the largest scrap contributors across the plant.
- Determine ways to reduce battery and plate scrap based on data.
- Participate in lab testing.
- Establish training processes on the shop floor.
- Analyzing scrap data using the company’s databases.
- Becoming familiar with battery processes and identifying weaknesses.
- Assisting with the training plan for new hires and current team members.
Other
- Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
- Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in Geneva, IL.
