Ensure the quality and reliability of Silfab Solar's solar products through testing and analysis of PV cells and modules

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and understanding of quality control principles
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies
  • Able to read blueprints/GD&T Drawings
  • Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, engineering technology, renewable energy) is preferred
  • Prior experience in a quality assurance or testing role within the solar or manufacturing industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished PV cells and modules
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, including but not limited to, spectrometers, current-voltage (IV) curve testers, thermal imaging cameras, and EL (electroluminescence) testers
  • Identify and document product defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions
  • Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of testing data and results

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Excellent communication skills to report findings and communicate with team members
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Self-motivated and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
