Sherwin Williams is looking for a Quality Control Technician to ensure their products meet quality specifications by maintaining quality control processes, testing products, and analyzing results.
Requirements
- Ensure all tests are completed and results meet all specifications before going to the next production process
- Enter all batch data into the electronic batch records system
- Generate appropriate paperwork as needed per customer specifications
- Gather and send customer samples as required
- Utilize appropriate computer systems to ensure effective testing of products
- Determine disposition of non-compliant finished goods
- Place non-conforming material on hold as needed
Responsibilities

- testing production batches according to specific written testing methods
- identifying issues of both in-spec and out-of-spec data
- interpret results and historical data to ensure the product meets or exceeds the customer requirements for quality
- provide instructions to production personnel regarding adjustments to batches as needed

- 3rd Shift 10:00pm - 6:30am
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a quality control laboratory
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
