BMW Manufacturing Company is looking to solve the problem of efficient problem detection, management, and solving processes in their Plant Problem Solving Process.
Requirements
- Knowledge of problem detection, management, and solving processes
- Experience with internal sensors and Warranty
- Familiarity with G45/G65 problem incidents
- Understanding of root cause analysis
- Ability to work with sensor data
Responsibilities
- Support the group in the tracking and management of the Plant Problem Solving Process.
- Investigate issues detected by internal sensors and from Warranty to ensure immediate containment and efficient problem solving.
- Support special project aimed at improving problem detection, management and solving processes.
- Investigate new G45/G65 problem incidents as requested by Q-Steerer.
- Monitor and investigate sensor data not reported as incidents with support for root cause analysis and ensure defect part available.
Other
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
- Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
