BrassCraft Manufacturing Company is looking to establish, maintain, and monitor adherence to a quality assurance system, including quality standards, inspection, test methods, and procedures, to ensure product quality and resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements
- Experience in ISO9001, Quality Audits and Supplier quality
- Experience with implementing good quality processes and systems (Control plans, PFMEA’s, Corrective action process)
- Problem solving methodology– 5Whys, 8D, Root Cause analysis, etc.
- QMS experience with PFMEA’s, PPAP, Control Plan
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Technical experience
- Machining background
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain policy for documentation of all products
- Reviews documentation before being sent to external customers
- Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams
- Anticipates, to the extent possible, program release problems and takes corrective action to resolve and achieve commitments.
- Evaluate, and oversee the monitoring of gages and measuring devices to detect non-conforming product
- Ongoing observation of all in-process manufacturing levels and evaluation of their adherence to good and established quality standards
- Constant evaluation, analysis, and continuous improvement of the present quality assurance system and procedures
Other
- Bachelor Science
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (metal working industry preferred) or High School Diploma and 10 years’ experience in the metal working industry
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience
- Metal Working experience
- Follow up on safety procedures to prevent employee injury
