Wieland is looking to hire a Quality Manager to manage, develop, maintain, and improve quality assurance programs and systems in line with international standards and customer requirements, ensuring products and quality objectives are met to support Morgan Bronze Business goals and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.
Requirements
- Advanced blueprint reading & understanding of GD&T.
- Strong knowledge of quality practices.
- Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gauges.
- Knowledge of ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Prior quality experience required, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Prior manufacturing experience in a machining job shop preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material, final products, and services to quality standards.
- Provide oversight of the Corrective Action process, addressing product non-conformances and safety.
- Designs and implements quality training programs for key personnel in conjunction with managers.
- Provide oversight and approval of manufacturing process documentation, such as Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Maps, which define verifications during production to ensure all requirements are met.
- Manages Continuous Improvement Program and acts as a change agent to produce a culture of safety, improvement, and quality.
- Summarize and report quality information and evaluate trends and major causes through Pareto analysis.
- Establishes statistical confidence programs by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence to maintain process control.
