3M Automotive is looking to solve quality-related issues in their ePowertrain and eAssembly segments
Requirements
- Experience with LEAN Six Sigma methodology and use of quality and statistical tools
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification such as Quality Engineer (CQE) or willingness to obtain
- Experience demonstrating 8D/5Why problem solving approach and methodology
- IATF or VDA Certified Auditor in the last 3 years
- Experience with identifying risk and implementing risk mitigation plans
- Broad experience and proven track record in customer quality and complaint handling
- Experience with statistical reporting (Six Sigma)
Responsibilities
- Supports and ensures the quality of business and sales processes related to ePowertrain and eAssembly segments
- Manage customer quality aligned by OEM, handle customer requirements, and contracts for ePowertrain and eAssembly
- Responsible for complaint management specific to industry requirements within ePowertrain and eAssembly
- Communicate and support certification strategy for ePowertrain and eAssembly
- Participate in industry specific internal and independent audit processes
- Implement risk management strategies and processes for ePowertrain and eAssembly segments
- Lead strategic quality meetings with ePowertrain, eAssembly, and marquee or key account customers
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years combined Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, Product Engineering, statistical reporting (Six Sigma) and/or Manufacturing experience within a private, public, government or military environment demonstrating Automotive industry knowledge
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
