Microwave Products Group (MPG) is seeking to ensure the quality and reliability of its mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems by inspecting incoming, in-process, and final products for conformance to specifications.
Requirements
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Quality systems, procedures, specifications and organization including knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, Lean Principles, Quality Tools.
- Able to perform daily work assignments with limited supervision, both independently and as a team member
- Color vision required in order to distinguish different plating finishes.
- Work will require ability to distinguish features and imperfections at various magnifications through a microscope.
Responsibilities
- Inspects incoming, in-process, and final components and products for conformance to specifications.
- Performs visual inspection, mechanical measurements, and selected electrical measurements.
- Maintains certification as an IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist.
- Reviews customer purchase order requirements and specifications to ensure company actions and documentation meet those requirements/specifications.
- Provides feedback to Product Line leadership and personnel regarding non-conforming in-process and final product and documentation.
- Provides quality support to Product Lines and Manufacturing Support Groups, including input for corrective actions and process improvements.
- Prepares First Article Inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 and customer requirements.
Other
- Desired: High School Diploma or GED.
- Desired: A minimum of 1+ years in a manufacturing environment, with focus in mechanical, electrical or other technical disciplines.
- Required: Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
- Required: Able to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of personnel in the company.
