Requirements
- Experience with inspection equipment, CMM and attribute gauging
- Inspections (in process, 1st article, receiving inspections)
- Experience with calibrations for calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify conformance to prints
- ISO-9001, AS-9100
- Reading of blueprints, data, manuals, QADs or other materials to determine specifications, procedures or instruments required for inspection
Responsibilities
- Supervises individual(s) typically consisting of support level employees
- Provides day-to-day work direction for direct report(s), focuses on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions
- Reviews inspection, production schedules and manpower resources
- Assigns and manages employees to maximize inspection objectives
- Participates in establishing and modifying inspection methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures
- Maintains reports, records and inspection documents
- Establishes training plans
Other
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Supervisor experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Supervisor experience
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience
- Communicate and interface with company leaders, peers, direct reports and customers (internal and external)
