BMW Manufacturing Company is looking to ensure their cars meet all customer expectations and internal requirements by actively managing the problem-solving process in both daily production and new product launches. They also need to manage and develop their quality management systems.
Requirements
- Basic programming knowledge preferred (Matlab, Python, VBA, SQL)
- Applications involved range from Oracle/SQL, to APEX, VBA/MS Office-based tools and other BMW-specific systems
Responsibilities
- Regularly reporting on our problem-solving landscape
- Supporting the quality steering team with their current topics
- Involved in root cause analysis, gathering data, establishing containments, process improvements, analyzing data and testing and validation of solutions and poke-yokes
- Managing the daily operation of our quality management tools
- Developing new features and systems as needed
- Analyze new problems in daily production and launches
- Test solutions to problems, ensuring they are robust enough for production
Other
- Pursuing Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial / Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
