Blattner Company is looking to solve quality control issues in their renewable energy projects by hiring a Quality Control Inspector to develop and implement site-specific Quality Programs.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of mechanical functions of equipment, of AC/DC principles, cable terminations, and inspection/testing equipment
- Familiar with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications
- Quality Management experience in Renewable Energy
- Experience creating and implementing Inspection and Testing Instructions
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Quality Department to develop and implement site-specific Quality Program
- Act as on-site lead for implementation of the Quality Control Plan for their inspectors and applicable third-party inspectors and testers
- Supervise, train, and schedule Quality Control Inspectors while ensuring proper application of Standard Inspection and Testing Instructions
- Administer the Managing Nonconformance Process at the project level and ensure timely resolution of nonconformance reports
- Perform inspections, tests, and field audits
Other
- A two-year related degree; or equivalent of education and experience
- Two (2) years of Quality Control process and procedure
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to read and understand contract exhibits
