Ensure facility compliance with quality standards and improve quality management systems
Requirements
- Strong understanding of QMS principles, ISO 9001:2015, and API Q1 standards
- Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), and quality tools
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications with tight tolerances
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and process control strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms
- Manage calibration and gauge R&R programs for monitoring and measuring equipment
- Lead internal audits, process audits, and support third-party or customer audits
- Analyze quality data, perform trend analysis on NCRs and CPARs, and report on metrics such as scrap, rework, and customer escapes
- Investigate product and process nonconformities, issue corrective and preventive actions, and validate effectiveness
- Develop inspection methods for receiving, in-process, and final product checks
- Participate in Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment activities
Other
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for audits, inspections, or training
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be physically present in manufacturing areas for extended periods
- Bachelor's of Science degree preferred or a related technical discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with quality management systems, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
