Sonoco needs to ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards, facilitate audits, and promote continuous improvement across departments by developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's ISO management systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ISO coordination or quality systems management.
- Certification in ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update ISO documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Coordinate internal and external ISO audits; track and ensure closure of non-conformities.
- Train staff on ISO standards and quality management system (QMS) requirements.
- Monitor compliance with ISO standards and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality, environmental, and safety initiatives.
- Prepare reports and metrics for management review.
- Stay current with changes in ISO standards and industry best practices.
