Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Inspection Team Member to work onsite in Columbus, GA, to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines, and to drive the organization and industry forward.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in quality/manufacturing environment
- Two to five years’ experience in quality/manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures (preferred)
- Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings (preferred)
- Good organizational and mathematical skills (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Work from applicable written inspection procedures and drawings.
- Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
- Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments.
- Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Follow Proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions and make sure that operation sheets are being followed.
- Utilize pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment.
- Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment used in performing the work as necessary.

- Must be willing to work any shift, including an alternate work week.
