L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their Norfolk VA team to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.
Requirements
- Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and has at least a basic understanding of electrical/electronic test results.
- Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Ability to obtain NACE or NBPI certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- NBPI and NACE certifications preferred but not required.
- WHMA/IPC-A-620 preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.
- Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.
- Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.
- Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.
- Support quality control initiatives
Other
- Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with the shop leads to address issues.
- Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Specialist as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of quality or technical experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Must be a US Citizen.
