ABB is looking to implement and maintain a quality system within its Motion division in the US, requiring assistance in various quality management activities.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical informationincluding part drawings, blueprints and GD&T drawings.
- Requires the ability to operate a variety of electronic and electrical test/measuring equipment and small hand and power tools.

Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection part analysis and 1st delivery assessment materials/components according to written procedures and specifications on drawings.
- Coordinate non-conformance Materials (NCM) through the plant and make sure that they are correctly labeled, registered in SAP and excluded from production.
- Provide input for NCR Package NCM for shipping.
- Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the internal Quality Management system (ISO9001:2015).
- Carry out thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, drawings & standards.
- Reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases
- Maintaining process documentation.
Other
- Requires an associate's degree in engineering technology and/or 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Requires the use of ESD equipment and high voltage shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection as needed.
