The Quality Technician participates in modification of the Quality system and is responsible for the auditing and inspection of its systems for compliance to standards.
Requirements
- Experience working in AS9100 or ISO9001 quality systems is required
- ASQ Certification (CQE/CQA/CQM) preferred
- Aerospace experience preferred.
- Experience with editing procedures and SOP’s preferred
Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts in-process product and process control inspections
- Plans and conducts final product acceptance testing
- Plans and conducts FOD audits and inspections
- Plans and conducts incoming raw material audits and inspections
- Plans and conducts Document Control Audits
- Plans and conducts Corrective Action Verification audits and inspections
- Plans and conducts Tool Calibration and Validation audits and inspections
Other
- This position is onsite in Coventry, Rhode Island.
- Good critical thinking skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality function role with an Associate’s degree in a related technical field such as Engineering or Physical Sciences required OR at least 5 years of experience in a quality function role with a High School Diploma (GED) will be considered.
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
