Amcor is looking to solve the problem of ensuring high-quality packaging products by hiring a quality technician to maintain specification sheets, perform inspections, and monitor quality systems for compliance.
Requirements
- Previous quality inspector/technician/auditor experience
- Computer systems: Must be able to navigate through quality systems: MII- Hold tags, scheduling for Work orders
- QSI- Controlled documents data base
- Real SPC- Visuals and checklists for pass/fail
- KMS- Holds
- AVID: Run measurements
Responsibilities
- Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections ensuring all quality standards are met.
- Continually monitoring quality systems for compliance.
- Perform safety audits and/or observations.
- Train operators on each machine to ensure clear understanding of quality standards.
- Assist with new product launch qualification and other objectives as directed by quality supervisor/manager.
- Maintain calibration system. Update and maintain compliance.
- Coordinate with Production or other personnel in developing and taking necessary corrective action when non-conformances are discovered.
Other
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred; in lieu of education, equivalent quality technician experience accepted.
- Possess a high level of attention-to-detail and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Be willing to work various shifts, hours, and overtime as required.
- Maintain an exceptional level of attendance and punctuality.
- Must have the necessary skills to perform reading, writing and mathematics in English as required and able to follow written and verbal directions.
