Penn Machine Company LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to perform and document various inspections and nondestructive testing to ensure product quality in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- strong inspection background
- nondestructive testing experience (mag particle and/or UT)
- Capable of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, including geometric tolerancing
- Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts using basic math, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and capable of performing basic statistical analysis
- Certifications in NDT testing, such as UT and/or mag particle, preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform and document various inspections, including incoming, in-process, final, and source inspections
- Nondestructive testing (UT, Mag particle, FARO)
- Internal and process audits
- Customer documentation packets
- Participation in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement projects
Other
- 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available and able to travel on occasion
- Willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when required.
