Kodak is looking for a Quality Technician to join their Digital Print Technology team to ensure Kodak manufactured products achieve their quality objectives by working with external suppliers and internal teams to manage material quality and inspection processes.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering documents (drawings)
- Demonstrated technical competence
- Limited wiring diagram understanding and ohm meter use desirable
- Familiarity with metrology/inspection tools
- Spreadsheet use and database entry experience
- Exposure to MRP systems, SAP is preferred
Responsibilities
- Validate supplier incoming inspection data for conformance
- Working with QA team members, manage first article validations, ongoing inspections, and dock-to-stock qualification of incoming materials
- Create, maintain, and close supplier corrective action requests
- Perform basic inspection via visual analysis of materials along with use of “bench” metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Along with QA leadership, use continuous improvement methods to enhance department procedures and layout/flow (5S approach)
- Help lead Kodak’s internal CLCA program
- Key assistant with ISO 9001:2015 semi-annual audits
Other
- Help coordinate/schedule daily inspections
- Inventory reconciliation from receiving inspection to stockroom
- Communicate with internal team members, and external business partners, to resolve any material quality concern
- Manage non-conforming material reviews and material disposition, return-to-vendor (RTV) with, and material waiver creation.

- An Associates of Science (AS) or Associates of Applied Science (AAS) is desirable
- Consideration given for academic coursework pursued at an accredited college/university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience
- No post high school academic coursework requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience with special consideration given to any candidate with Inkjet printing experience/knowledge.
