Hitachi Energy is seeking a Transformer Oil Lab Technician to support the performance and reliability of critical transformer systems
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Chemical disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemical lab or handling chemical products
- Prior experience in a quality technician or inspector role in a production environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality control practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
- Proficiency in documentation and basic lab instrumentation
Responsibilities
- Perform transformer oil sampling and testing to meet quality and industry standards
- Evaluate test results and generate reports aligned with IEEE standards and customer requirements
- Maintain lab documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 and support 5S initiatives
- Ensure lab instruments are calibrated and functioning properly
- Monitor and manage inventory of lab equipment and spare parts
- Contribute to the development of lab procedures and safety assessments
- Identify and recommend improvements in lab operations
