Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Quality Technician III to execute routine tasks with limited supervision and more complex tasks with support, focusing on equipment setup, metrology support, and general housekeeping within their MedTech division.
Requirements
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) troubleshooting, programming, and application (Calypso preferred).
- Skilled in blueprint reading with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) interpretation of bonus tolerances
- Fluent in basic measuring instruments (2D Vision systems, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators)
- Perform Equipment Validation and Software Validation
- Lead and deliver gauge studies (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility, Correlation Studies, etc.)
- Familiarity with inspection methods and techniques is required
- Experience with Blueprint reading/literacy including GD&T is preferred
Responsibilities
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) troubleshooting, programming, and application (Calypso preferred). Position considered as Subject Matter Expert for CMM and stationary gauges for the site
- Skilled in blueprint reading with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) interpretation of bonus tolerances
- Fluent in basic measuring instruments (2D Vision systems, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators)
- Perform Equipment Validation and Software Validation
- Lead and deliver gauge studies (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility, Correlation Studies, etc.)
- Ensure visibility of risks associated with product quality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems
- Use data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implements risk mitigations and process improvements with limited support
Other
- A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 5 years of related work experience is required
- Experience working in inspection/manufacturing/operations is preferred
- The ability to perform "hands on" troubleshooting and problem solving is required
- Ability to interact with, influence, and lead cross-functional, cross-business unit teams is required
