Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician Lead to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and policies such as Safety, Quality, GMP, and CPS, while providing direction and support to the Quality team.
Requirements
- One plus years’ experience in Quality Technician role.
- One plus years’ experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Monitors environment and becomes aware of conditions that may affect employee safety and security; takes corrective action.
- Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees.
- Applies statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
- Performs in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
- Communicates quality issues and out of specifications conditions to plant leaders.
- Completes laboratory testing and collects samples at established intervals.
- Develops and implements quality related training programs for all employees.
Other
- High School diploma.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
- Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
