Fifth Third Bank is looking for a Quantitative Analyst 1 to provide quantitative support for the Fraud Reporting and Modeling team, utilizing analytics to report fraud trends, optimize operations reporting, and develop applications.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience with advanced STEM degree or up to 1 years of applied experience utilizing programming languages (SAS and/or Python preferred)
- experience with data visualization via coursework or professional experience with Tableau, Power BI, R-Shiny, or other data visualization software
- Minimum 0-1 years’ experience with SAS and/or Python (experience via coursework acceptable)
- Experience with common predictive modeling approaches (Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Lasso Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, Decision Trees, Neural Networks)
Responsibilities
- This person will provide quantitative support for the Fraud Reporting and Modeling team
- Utilize analytics approaches to report fraud trends, optimize operations reporting, and develop apps (when needed)
- Work cross functionally within the department with analytics, operations, and other stakeholders
- Provide ahoc support for operations, strategy, and leadership analytics requests
