RA Capital Management is looking to enhance its investment decision-making and core processes with data-driven analyses.
Requirements
- Experience working with Spark (pyspark), SQL, Python.
- Experience with data visualization libraries and BI tools such as Tableau, Plotly, and Dash Enterprise preferred.
- Experience working with and analyzing large medical, healthcare, and/or financial datasets, strongly preferred.
- MATLAB preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze healthcare and financial datasets.
- Develop predictive models to forecast trends, assess risks, and identify investment opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio performance, identifying key drivers and potential areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data collection, processing, and storage.
Other
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a Bachelors (or higher) in a STEM or finance/economics degree.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist.
- Must be curious, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing projects and priorities.
- Must be based in Massachusetts (consideration will be given to applicants who are willing and able to relocate to MA).
