Auros is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to leverage their passion for cryptocurrency and financial markets to drive the company forward in the high-frequency trading business line.
Requirements
- Inherent understanding of stochastic processes and ability to explain how individual observations in a market relate to context and statistical distributions
- Experience working with datasets that can’t fit on one machine, and familiarity with various cluster technology
- Experience with market-leading modelling and learning methods for predicting time series with extensive context
- Experience with the high performance requirements of HFT, and understanding of how systems need to adapt to compete at low latencies
Responsibilities
- Add value in every part of the profit pipeline, from alpha generation to inventory management, risk management to execution and strategy logic
- Work with and learn from other successful, 10 year+ experienced quants and traders from T1 firms
- Use critical thinking and data driven decision making to prioritise tasks and drive the company forward
- Drive the company forward by pushing ahead to deliver solutions without waiting for a directive
- Work on the next generation build out of the HFT business line from an already successful systematic trading business
