QuEra Computing is seeking to develop algorithms and applications in collaboration with external customers, collaborators, and users.
Requirements
- Functional knowledge of at least one of the fields of quantum machine learning, quantum optimization, quantum chemistry, or quantum information science
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of quantum computing and algorithmic primitives
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong knowledge with open quantum SDKs such as qiskit, Pennylane, and cirq
- Expertise in an industry vertical such as logistics, finance, operations research, chemistry, biotech, engineering, machine learning, or other related field
- Familiarity with scientific software coding practices and use of software platforms such as GitHub
- Familiarity with neutral atom quantum computing
Responsibilities
- Develop tutorials, examples, documentation, and demonstrations using neutral atom hardware and software stacks
- Implement algorithms, develop use-cases, and create business solutions with clients, business partners, collaborators, and other users of quantum computers
- Work on projects ranging from machine learning, operations research, data science, chemistry, and more
- Interact with clients, business partners, collaborators, and other users of quantum computers
- Develop client-focused quantum solutions
- Contribute to open-source quantum SDKs
- Create business solutions
Other
- MSc or a Ph.D. degree in computer science, physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
