Quill, a part of the Staples family, is looking for fresh talent to help them be more successful and productive in their B2B eCommerce environment by designing intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences that make it easier for small businesses to shop and manage their workplace supplies.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
- A portfolio that demonstrates visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, color, hierarchy)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support design projects across the full UX lifecycle: research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual refinement
- Create design assets (layouts, icons, banners, UI components) that align with Quill’s brand guidelines and design system
- Assist in building interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts and user flows
- Conduct competitive and UX best practice reviews to inspire new design ideas and improve existing experiences
- Participate in design critiques, incorporating feedback into revisions and iterating quickly
Other
- Pursuing a master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Arts, Product Design or a related field
- Curiosity about user-centered design and eagerness to learn UX best practices
- Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and collaborate in a team setting
- This internship position is a part of a hybrid work model, 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, based out of the Quill Corporate facility in Lincolnshire, IL.
