Restaurant365 is seeking an R&D Business Data Analyst to bridge the gap between centralized data practices and the needs of the Product, Design, and Engineering organization, uncovering product usage insights, engineering bottlenecks, informing product strategy, and translating business requirements into data solutions.
Requirements
- Strong SQL and BI (Domo preferred)
- Python or R experience for advanced analytics is a plus
- Experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, or systems analysis
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing
- Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, or modern cloud-based data stacks
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and deliver actionable insights
- Solid understanding of SaaS product KPIs (activation, adoption, retention, engagement)
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale product usage and telemetry data with Ops to uncover adoption trends, engagement drivers, customer experience friction points, and opportunities to optimize
- Build clear metrics for operational readiness, scalability, and security for Infrastructure teams, working closely with Ops to ensure alignment
- Provide data-driven insights to improve forecasting, roadmap health, and portfolio planning
- Build and maintain dashboards in Domo that deliver key product KPIs to stakeholders in real time
- Support predictive models for adoption scoring, retention forecasting, and product stickiness
- Gather requirements and translate them into clear analytics deliverables
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize data pipelines and ensure analytics scalability
Other
- 5–7 years of combined experience in product analytics, business analysis, or related fields in SaaS/technology environments.
- Skilled in gathering requirements, writing functional specs, and bridging technical and business teams.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into executive-ready recommendations.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Background in project management or Agile methodologies.
