Milliman IntelliScript is looking to solve business and technical problems by developing and deploying category-defining, data-driven, software-as-a-service (SaaS) products for insurance, health IT, and life sciences clients
Requirements
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques
- Strong analytical & creative problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience with Excel and SQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and analytics
- 6+ months’ experience with Databricks or other relevant analytics software
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira)
Responsibilities
- Perform client proof-of-concept studies and generate other recurring client deliverables
- Work with BD consultants and internal experts to complete analyses related to client questions and ad-hoc needs
- Anticipate and address questions that will arise during business review
- Actively engage in peer review processes, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality and consistency of work produced and reviewed
- Conduct research projects from start to finish by working with other IntelliScript teams, where necessary
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts
- Provide UAT support to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements
Other
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analytics, product research, or related role
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 5%)
