Belden, Inc. is looking for R&D Fiber Interns to support the design, validation, and qualification of new fiber-optic cable and connectivity products, aiming to drive innovation in connectivity solutions and contribute to the company's journey of creating a connected world.

Responsibilities
- Support the design and validation of new fiber-optic cable and connectivity products and run development trials
- Qualify fiber optic cable and connectivity products in our test labs and ensure that they meet industry standards
- Perform optical, mechanical, and environmental qualification tests, and investigate failure modes
- Participate in the technical evaluation of new measurement equipment with R&R analysis
- Support prototype production using 3D printers and assemble and validate prototypes in the laboratory

- Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Optical Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, and have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
