TE Connectivity is looking to solve the business and technical problem of contributing to product development projects for Electric Vehicle charging inlets by leveraging intern talent to learn and apply engineering tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Learn and apply solid modeling tools (primarily Creo) and finite element analysis (FEA) software.
- Work with product documentation including 3D models, drawings, specifications, tolerance analyses, and test reports.
- Support validation testing and gain exposure to failure prevention and root cause analysis.
- Assist in completing engineering tasks that apply concepts that you will learn during the summer.
- Document test results, prepare summaries, and present findings to the team.
- Gain an understanding of Electric Vehicle charging inlets technology in the automotive industry.
- Expand your knowledge of engineering tools and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities

- Develop communication and teamwork skills by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with the R&D & Product engineering team to support active projects.
- Support team activities and learn how new products move from concept to production.
- Have a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
- Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical or other related Engineering major
