The Product Development Engineer provides solutions for the development of high-speed bulk cable products used in Data Centers.
Requirements
- Prior Experience in a Product Development environment required.
- Working knowledge of Network Analyzers and S-Parameters a plus.
- CAD Experience a plus.
- Knowledge of high-speed bulk cable design & manufacturing a plus.
- Knowledge of Wire & Cable Manufacturing a plus.
- Experience with Reliability Testing/Engineering a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design/Product Development/Documentation
- Support Manufacturing Process Development
- Interact with Test Lab on Product Testing and Validation activities.
- Interact with Cable Assembly to ensure product fully meets expectations. Correlate bulk cable data to cable assembly SI/Physical test data.
- Explore new Raw Materials for Product Development and Improvement activities.
- Interact with SI Engineer on Modeling & Test Development activities.
- Interact with Bulk Cable PDEs/MPDEs in sister plants.
Other
- Minimum of 3-5 years years of experience
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering Degree preferred.
- Support all EH&S Activities.
- Provide Technical Presentations to Internal & External Customers as required.
- Support SAFE Activities
- Support ISO Activities
- Provide any support for any activities or projects necessary to support the business.
