Henkel is looking to hire a professional to support the development and commercialization of Laundry & Home Care and Hair products by understanding material performance, evaluating competitive offerings, and ensuring accurate data generation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Actively seeks to understand and utilizes the understanding of chemical structure/function relationships pertaining to material performance delivered from a formulation matrix.
  • Developing “demo's” to support commercial executions
  • Works closely with R&D’s cross-functional teams (i.e packaging, process development, product testing, and manufacturing) during the development and commercialization of products.
  • Obtains data to evaluate the composition and performance of competitive offerings.
  • Ensures accurate data is generated during laboratory testing and is reported according to standard operating procedures or customer requirements.
  • Conducts laboratory work and equipment maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and delivers presentations, both written and oral, to various levels of management.
  • Conducts laboratory work and equipment maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or an equivalent Science or Engineering related field.
  • 0-5 years of relevant laboratory and industry experience.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to utilize good judgement to make timely, practical, and technically sound decisions.
  • The position can be filled in Stamford, CT or Trumbull, CT.
